The Original Backpack Option

Trinidad Connection & Friends operates a strict no-refund policy on all packages. Even in the event that the 2026 parade is postponed or cancelled, all orders will be completed and made available for collection on the scheduled pick-up dates in July 2026. It is your responsibility to collect your order in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

If you are unable to attend on the designated pick-up date, please ensure that someone else can collect your order on your behalf. The person collecting must present the order confirmation.

Important:

Orders that remain uncollected two weeks after the specified pick-up date will be reallocated and may be resold to the costume departments of local theatre houses in Rotterdam. In such cases, no refund or credit will be issued.

 

Size & Exchange Policy

All costumes are produced based on the size information provided at the time of order.

Due to the custom and limited nature of our costumes, exchanges or size changes after purchase are not guaranteed.

If a size adjustment is required, we will do our best to assist where possible, but this is subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Minor alterations are the responsibility of the participant.

 

Weather & Force Majeure

Trinidad Connection & Friends is not responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations caused by weather conditions, government restrictions, safety regulations, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

In the event of severe weather, route changes, or official cancellation of the parade, all costumes and packages will still be provided as planned. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

Liability & Safety

Participation in the parade and all related events is at your own risk.

Trinidad Connection & Friends is not liable for:

• Personal injury
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Accidents occurring before, during, or after the event
• Actions of third parties

All participants must follow the instructions of the truck crew, security personnel, and official event organizers at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the band without refund.

 

Code of Conduct

Trinidad Connection & Friends stands for respect, inclusion, and safety.

By participating, you agree to:

• Treat all participants with respect
• Avoid discriminatory, violent, or hateful behavior
• Follow safety instructions
• Respect public property and local regulations

 

Any form of harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate exclusion without refund.

 

Transfer of Participation

You may transfer your costume package to another person.

The new participant must present:

• The original order confirmation
• The name of the original purchaser

Trinidad Connection & Friends must be informed of the name change before the pick-up date.

 

 

Terms & Conditions

By registering with Trinidad Connection & Friends, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you may not participate in the carnival with Trinidad Connection & Friends.

In these terms, “we”, “us”, “our”, or “Trinidad Connection & Friends” refers to Trinidad Connection & Friends, and “you” or “your” refers to you as a participant in the Trinidad Connection & Friends band.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time by publishing an updated version on our website. Such changes will not affect rights and obligations that arose prior to the modification. Your continued use of our website, goods, or services after the posting of revised terms constitutes acceptance of the terms in effect at the time of use.

 

Please review these Terms and Conditions periodically. If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, your sole remedy is to immediately discontinue use of our website, goods, and services.
